 Snafu Brewing - North Charleston

Located in a garage in an industrial area, at Snafu you probably get the best Sour Beers of the United States in a family atmosphere. Board games and video games are available, too!

Brewlab - Charleston

At Brewlab (just opened a couple of months ago)  you can enjoy a big variety of high quality home brewed beers in a friendly and clean atomosphere.
Not to forget the extremely friedly bartenders and the Mexican style food!

Oak Road Brewery- My favorite place in Summerville

At Oak Road you immediately get caught by the friendly environment, as well as by the wide range of totally different kinds of beer. They brew crazy creations like Christmas beers with cinnamon and ginger. I felt very welcome and like at home talking to some guests and the courteous staff around the two Brian's and the two Erin's. I enjoyed a wonderful evening with totally new and inspring impressions for my own brewery. :)

Another brewery tour

Just went on another brewery tour and discovered some cozy and boozy places to stay!

I'd especially like to mention the brand new Edisto River Brewing Company, who gave me a very warm welcome und served me a perfekt Porter!

Furthermore, you shouldn't miss it to stop by at Low Tide Brewing (unique Low Country ambience), Fat Pig Brewing (cozy tiny place, very strong and tasty dark beer) and Charles Towne Fermentory (awesome Hazy IPA, at the moment only to go due to the pandemic). Also worth visiting are Frothy Beard Brewing and Fam's Brewing. Both of them seem to be a little bit commercial, but they're offering delicious pizza!

Hobcaw Brewing Company - Mt. Pleasant

Since this brewery just opened about two months ago, it deserves special attention!
A cozy little place where you can easily spend a couple of hours, enjoying a couple of beers. :)
I had the opportunity to talk to Chris (probably the owner), a really smart guy whose heart beats for beer I guess.
I'd especially recommend to taste the two NEIPA's called "New Economics" and "Mercy Cloud". Just awesome!

Indigo Reef Brewing Company, Charleston

Comfortable little taproom and beergarden in a quiet area. Extremely nice and helpful staff and a "Helles", that's quite close to the German original. I'd recommend to  taste the Ocean Gem, a wonderful hazy IPA

Ghost Monkey Brewery, Mt. Pleasant

I'd recommed to taste the East Cost IPA, but the really special thing about this brewery is, that any tip goes to a charity project. That's something I appreciate a lot!
